POST CARE

Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any lotion, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 14 days after your procedure.

For the next 8 hours use a damp cotton round or paper towel and gently pat on the treated area every 30 mins to absorb any excess lymph

Day 1 ( tomorrow): Wash your brows one time in the morning with an antibacterial soap rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel.

During the healing process it is very normal to experience tenderness and slight redness. Due to the use of an anesthetic to ease the discomfort, a white halo may appear around the treated area and will disappear in an hour or so after the appointment.

If you see some dark pieces of pigment, do not be alarmed as this is the process of exfoliation and is totally normal. Once the exfoliation of your enhancement starts it is very important to NOT PICK, PEEL, or TOUCH the enhancement with your bare hands as it can lead to infection. Use a Q-Tip to apply petroleum jelly to the treated area. Concentrated pigment focused on a certain area on your enhancement is due to the process of healing and is completely normal so please do not be alarmed. It is best to let the healing process happen naturally for the best end result.

Daily Care to Follow for 1 week

• Apply a thin layer of aquaphor throughout the healing process as needed for a week (or until brows are almost done peeling) to keep the treated area moist. Please wash your hands before applying the product. Use a clean Q-tip on each side to prevent cross contamination. If you experience excessive itching, swelling or any blistering please stop the usage of your aftercare ointments and contact your technician immediately.

• We recommend that you use a gentle facial cleanser to cleanse your skin. Preferably one that doesn't contain AHA, glycolic, lactic acids, or Retin-A products as they will fade the pigmentation. Please do not cleanse directly on the brows during the first week. Do not splash water on your face.

• To prevent your enhancement from getting wet, apply a thick layer of Vaseline to your enhancement when washing your hair to prevent it from becoming wet. Gently wipe off the Vaseline with cotton swabs.

• If your enhancement gets wet, gently pat the area dry using a clean tissue or towel.

• Keep your hair away from your enhancement to prevent the possibility of infection.

• Please allow for the enhancement to naturally flake. It is also normal to experience itching. DO NOT PEEL, PICK, or RUB the enhancement as this will make it heal uneven and may cause infection.

• Don't undergo any skincare beauty treatments for at least 5 days after the application of your enhancement.

• No make-up should be applied close to your enhancement during this time. Please also avoid any products that contain Aloe Vera or Vitamin E at this time.

• Avoid excessive sweating (gym, outdoor sports/activities etc.)

Day 2-10: Gently wash the brows with antibacterial soap once in the morning, rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a clean paper towel and apply rice grain size amount of Aquaphor to both brows. Repeat the process at night.

Avoid for 2 weeks:

• Please avoid having direct sunlight on your enhancement. No tanning treatments, jacuzzi, saunas, salt water, chlorine water, gym (avoid excessive sweating) or recreational bodies of water.

• Do not tint, wax, or do peels, electrolysis, or laser hair removal treatments around the treated area.

Long-term Care:

• The sun can damage and fade your treated area so take care of your enhancement by investing in a good sunscreen with a healthy dose of at least SPF15.

• If you are thinking of having a chemical peel, laser procedure, or an MRI scan inform the technician of your permanent cosmetics.

• If you decide to donate blood within a year after your treatment notify the national blood service before as this can affect your ability to donate.

Important notes:

• After the initial 14 days, the color you have chosen will fade and begin to appear more natural.

• Typically, healing should take up to about 14 days, though this can vary case by case due to the fact that some may take longer due to stress, a poor diet, or their immune system is compromised.

• Uneven color after the initial treatment is to be expected. In order to ensure the best outcome, we recommend a second session to complete the desired result. First touch up pricing will be $100 if booked at 4-8 weeks from initial appointment; $150 for 2-6 months; $150 for 6-12 months; current price for 1-2 years 250; full price if after 2 years. Please be mindful of the technician’s time and notify 2 days in advanced if you need to reschedule to a later date.

• How well you follow the aftercare instructions and maintain your eyebrows on a daily basis will determine the longevity of your tattoo.
